A Pressure group in Adamawa State under the banner of Buhari/Osinbajo Again (BOA) has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the APC government at the Federal level in the war against insurgency and corruption.
The group reasoned that the recent conversation between President Donald Trump of America and President Muhammadu Busari is a good omen and that The Nigerian leader should be encouraged to re-contest in 2019.
BOA made its stand known in Yola, where it endorsed the continuation of the present government in 2019 and offered special prayers for Buhari and his deputy .
The group which visited the Adamawa state APC secretariat relayed its mission to the party’s executive council.
Adamawa state Chairman of APC, Alh.Ibrahim Bilali who spoke in Hausa said he supports the continuation in office of Buhari and Osinbajo as well as Adamawa State Governor Jubrilla Muhammed Bindow beyond 2019.
Some of the party chieftains described the endorsement as a welcome idea.
Political pundits say this is good news for Governor Bindow, the Buhari/Osinbajo administration and bad news for their rivals.
