Image result for Enugu RangersCoach of Enugu Rangers Imama Amakapabo has called for caution, insists his side will continue to fight until the Nigeria pro-football league title is won after the final day fixture at home to El Kanemi.

Enugu Rangers moved closer to ending their 32-year title drought following a 2-1 win against Ikorodu United at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta on Sunday.

The Flying Antelopes now top the standings with 60 points and need a point from their last fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors in Enugu to win the title.

Rivers United’ s title bid suffered a hitch after they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by relegation battlers Abia Warriors.

The Pride of Rivers remain in second position and will need to win their last fixture away to Akwa United and Rangers losing theirs to win the title.

In Nnewi, FC IfeanyiUbah beat Oriental rivals Enyimba 1-0 to move into second position in the table.

At Ibadan, Shooting Stars secured their safety and ended Wikki Tourists’ title ambitions with a 1-0 win.

Heartland boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 win against Kano Pillars at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
