The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi has assured residents that the efforts are in top gear to ensure speedy passage of the bill for a law prohibiting forcible entry and occupation of landed properties in the state.
He made this known in Abeokuta while meeting the delegation of Broadcast journalists in Abeokuta at the assembly complex.
He noted that when the bill is passed into law, it would curb unlawful activities of land grabbers in the State and give people legal right over their property.
The speaker also hinted that the assembly is working on the grazing bill that will check the excesses of violent herdsmen in the state.
